National Conservatism is a political and economic philosophy advocating that the State should serve, protect and work for the greater good and benefit of all the people; and for greater support and co-operation between government and business, for the purpose of building the nations prosperity. This is achieved through a mechanism of low taxation, free, but fair market capitalism, improving efficiency and productivity, facilitating genuine competition, deregulation by eliminating unnecessary government bureaucracy and intervention, but embracing government initiatives with nation building enterprises in conjunction with Conservative Modern Monetary Theory.
It emphasizes individual liberty, rights and freedoms, with freedom of speech and choice essential for a free society, but individuals must also exercise responsibility, have manners, etiquette and respect; and society’s foundations should be rooted upon Australian western values and culture, including Christian and religious principles, which adhere to the ten commandments and avoid the seven deadly sins, with the aim of making the nation and its people, healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Private enterprise operating in free and fair markets, is the most efficient way to allocate resources and promote prosperity. However, privatisation for the national good only works where there is genuine, fair and unhindered competition, which drives down prices, whilst improving quality. Whereas private monopolies, especially within the state utilities market, simply drive-up prices through greed, whilst reducing the quality of service. It is therefore necessary for State utilities to be owned and operated by the State where profits are returned as price cuts and improved services, for the benefit of all the people.
National governments should play a role in stimulating the economy by creating commerce and industry where the private sector cannot or will not venture. State owned industries, operated on the model of a private company, can be very successful and are vital where competition cannot exist. Co-operation between the State and the private sector, working together for the greater good, is a recipe for success.
Conservative Modern Monetary Theory is vital for an economy, as it enables the Government to be fiscally and monetarily responsible, efficiently manage the nation’s economy and to finance its expenditure without accruing debt interest, ending usury debt slavery. We will be able to build our way out of our problems, enrich the people through full employment and home ownership, but always whilst caring for the poorest in our society.
The traditional family is the bedrock upon which our society is built, for which home ownership is vitally important. With sovereign interest-free mortgages and a focus on full employment, families will flourish and prosper. National Conservatism supports and promotes the fundamental necessities of the nation being, freedom, family, faith, homes, health, education and employment.
These are just a few of the policies that we intend to implement to build Australia’s economy to achieve full employment and greater prosperity for all
There are a lot of lies and falsehoods stated about Conservatives and their attitude towards social housing, but the truth of the matter is, that Conservatives build more homes. Conservative governments in the UK in the 1950s (starting from 1951) delivered a massive expansion of social housing, meeting their pledge to build 300,000 houses a year, with council houses forming a significant portion of that total. During the height of this period, council house building averaged around 147,000 homes a year. When we repeat this here in Australia, we will solve the housing crisis. To achieve this, all you have to do is, Vote National Conservative; and we will do the rest.
