REFUND POLICY

Membership Fees

Membership fees are payable upon a new membership application being accepted and all and any subsequent membership renewals. The membership fee will be refunded if the application or renewal is not accepted. Membership fees are non-refundable once invoiced and payment has been made and processed.

Donations

All donations made to the National Conservative Party are final and non-refundable, regardless of the payment method. If you are not satisfied you may lodge a written refund request to the National Conservative Party Treasurer at accounts@nationalconservative.com.au within 3 working days of the receipt, for consideration.

Any refund or refund of membership fees, renewals and donations are subject to the discretion of the National Conservative Party Treasurer.

All membership fees and donations are subject to an invoice, stating the amount payable, including any GST; and payment is to be made by Electronic Funds Transfer to the National Conservative Party’s nominated bank account, stipulated on the invoice.

If you believe a payment has been made in error, you may lodge a written refund request to the National Conservative Party Treasurer at accounts@nationalconservative.com.au within 3 working days of the receipt, for consideration.

Unauthorised Payments or Receipts

Any unauthorised payment or donation made to the National Conservative Party, by any means, which violates or contravenes the Laws of any State or Commonwealth, relating to political donations, will not be accepted and returned to the party, that made the payment, by Electronic Funds Transfer payment. If the party or person cannot be identified, then the unauthorised payment or donation will be reported and brought to the attention of the relevant authorities to investigate.

The National Conservative Party reserves the right to transfer any unauthorised payment or donation to the relevant authorities. Where no such payment can be made, the unauthorised amount will not be retained by the National Conservative Party; and after a period of thirty days, after the relevant authority has concluded its investigation, will donate the amount to a charity of the National Conservative Party’s choice.

If you believe the unauthorised payment or donation has been made in error, you may lodge a refund request, in writing, to the National Conservative Treasurer at accounts@nationalconservative.com.au within 3 working days of the transaction for consideration. Proof will be required to satisfy that you were the payee, whereupon a refund will be made. If the payee fails to contact us or fails to provide the necessary proof, then the National Conservative Party reserves the right to pay the unauthorised amount to a charity of their choice; and your failure to identify yourself or to provide the necessary supporting documentation, will mean that you have accepted this, which will mean that you indemnify the National Conservative Party in full and waive any rights of recover or of subrogation.

All Rights Reserved

The Nation Conservative Party reserves the right to decline any refund request that does not meet the above criteria and to update this refund policy at any time.
