CONSERVATIVE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES

What are Conservative Values and Principles

Many conservatives believe, that the rights of the individual are more important than the rights of the State and that the government should not play a major role in regulating business or managing the economy. They typically oppose efforts to charge high tax rates and oppose the introduction of new bureaucracy, that tries and fails miserably to redistribute income to assist the poor. Such efforts, they argue, do not properly reward people who have earned their money through hard work; Whilst forcing the poor to rely upon the State, thus limiting them from reaching their full potential.

Conservative principles are built upon conservative values. Conservatives consider the three doctrines of freedom, family and faith to be the bedrock values of their lives and should be the foundations upon which a nation is built. Freedom being the most important, for without freedom, you have no liberty to develop and grow to your full potential as a free thinking and free acting individual. A nation that supports and promotes the full potential of its citizens can only benefit, which in turn allows the nation to achieve its full potential.

Generally, most Conservatives will have and support the following list of values, which are at the core of their individuality and beliefs.
